Sports & Remedial Massage
(30 - 60 minutes)
This is a deep massage, pinpointing specific
areas of muscular tension, stiffness or pain. Techniques may
include trigger point work and incorporate stretching into the
session if necessary.
Swedish Massage (30 - 60
minutes)
This is a gentle, soothing and relaxing massage covering the legs,
feet, back, neck, shoulders, arms and hands. Ideal for clearing
your mind and revitalising your body.
Indian Head Massage (30
minutes) Great for relieving
tension headaches and stress, this covers the scalp, neck and
shoulders. You can choose to include a facial massage for the
ultimate in relaxation, very much a neccessity for all smilers and
frowners alike.
Maintenance Massage (30 - 60
minutes) The best injury
prevention results are seen with fortnightly to monthly treatments
to keep muscles functioning properly and identify any potential
problems early on.
Pre-event Massage (30 minutes)
Performed in the lead up to an event, this can
help prepare the body for competition and ensure muscles are in
peak condition ready to 'reach those goals'.
Post-event Massage (30 - 60
minutes) This massage can be used
after competition / strenuous exercise or as part of your
cool-down. It helps to clear metabolites created during activity so
minimises the effect of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) and
speeds recovery - allowing you to safely and quickly return to
training.
Times noted above are guidelines only,
dependant on each individuals circumstances. Longer massages can be
arranged on request.
